Meet Our Board

Tamarr Young - President

Tamarr Young is a peer advocate for Best Self, and has been a youth specialist within the Buffalo community for the past 8 years. He works with at-risk youth, providing them with housing and mental health services through his own non-profit, “Do For Self”, for which he is the Founder.

Amanda Figueroa - Vice President

Amanda Figuroa is a housing specialist for Best Self. She also serves as the founder for “Everyone Welcome” food pantry, which is dedicated to providing food to those in need, with a primary focus on struggling families within the East Side community of Buffalo.

Kelly Zaky - Secretary

Kelly Zaky is a data manager for Goodwill of Western New York. She is also a graduate of the University at Buffalo, having earned both a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a focus on social innovation and trauma-informed practice.

Jamie Rosner - Treasurer

Jamie Rosner is a Project Engineer with Viridi, a Lithium-Ion Battery manufacturer on the East Side of Buffalo. He is also a graduate of University in Buffalo, having earned both a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration.

Kathrine Dukes-Weber

Kathrine Dukes-Weber serves as a community engagement specialist with Molina Healthcare. She is an experienced saleswoman, with a focus in Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care, and Account Management.
